Fun And Creative Approaches To Snack Time
When you have kids snack time becomes an every day ritual, and it is one that will last for some time. You can go with the boring old standby snacks that we all had as children, or you could get a little creative in your approach.
For example, instead of pudding cups, why not make Worms ‘N Mud? Just take some chocolate pudding, crumbled graham crackers, and gummy worms, and mix them together. It’s a sweet treat that kids love to eat, and when you buy the boxed pudding to prepare it saves quite a bit of money as well.
Instead of tossing your child an apple, why not make Apple Sandwiches? Simply decore an apple, skin the outside (this is optional), and cut it into rings. Take two of the rings and spread one with peanut butter, then push the two together to form a sandwich. Kids love this snack!
Don’t like apples? You can spread some peanut butter on celery sticks, and then put on a few raisins, making Ants On A Log. These are only a few ideas for revving up snack time, and getting your kids to eat better, without spending a lot to do it.
